2023-24 Goals for VTIREP: Living Vine, Cameroon began building a building for the institute. Though construction in Cameroon is much less than in the US, the addition is estimated to cost $350,000 USD.
History of the Institute Living Vine and Cameroon on the whole are in desperate need of trained mental health and substance abuse care workers. After a decade of anticipation, this year Living Vine named and completed the government's accreditation process for the Institute for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Vocational Training of Ronald E. Presley. For short: VTIREP. On March 29th, 2023, State Officials evaluated the Institute’s facility. On May 23rd, 2022, Director Hedwick Fonbeh trekked to the capital Youande to go before a jury of officials and succeeded in naming and the institute became official for six programs. Like the clinic, the intention is for the Institute to be largely self-sustaining through tuition fees.
